This product enables much darker colours to be achieved than can be supplied in distemper, with a less uniform finish and significant variation of colour and tone. Casein Binding Medium is often applied over a Casein Distemper ground-coat. Casein Binding Medium applied to appropriate surfaces will not readily rub-off on clothes. It are not as wipeable as modern vinyl emulsion paints.

Natural earth powder pigments are supplied separately for site addition. Guidance is available.
