4.0 First Aid Measures

4.1.2 Inhalation: Inhalation can cause coughing, sneezing and respiratory problems. Move into fresh air and keep at rest. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

4.1.3 Ingestion: Drink plenty of water. Do not give casualty anything to drink if unconscious. Get medical attention if discomfort continues.

4.1.4 Skin: Skin contact may cause irritation due to mechanical action or sensitive skin. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water for several minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists after washing.

4.1.5 Eye Contact: Eye contact can cause irritation due to mechanical action and secretion of tears. Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses and open eyelids widely. If irritation persists seek medical attention and bring these instructions.

5.0 Fire Fighting Measures:

5.1 Extinguishing media: Foam, carbon dioxide (CO2), Extinguishing powder, Water jet.

5.2 Special Hazards: In the case of fire: formation of carbon oxides, toxic gases/vapours.

5.3 Advice for fire fighters: Wear self-contained respiratory protective devices and clothing.

6.1 Personal Precautions: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of dust, wear dust mask if necessary.

6.2 Environmental precautions: Do not discharge into drain, watercourses or onto the ground.

6.3 Methods of Cleaning up: Remove spillage with vacuum or shovel and broom. Do not use airline.

7.1 Precautions for safe handling: Use mechanical ventilation if handling causes formation of dust. Observe occupational exposure limits and minimise the risk of dust inhalation. Provide sufficient means of filtration of exhausted air.

Store in original container in a cool dry place. Keep away from food and drink.
